Vacuum Engineering Services (VES) is a leader in helium leak testing machinery, supplying innovative solutions to industries around the globe, from automotive giants to the HVAC, refrigeration, and pharmaceutical sectors. When VES was ready to unveil their latest groundbreaking product, they wanted to do more than just a standard launch—they wanted to create an experience.
The goal? To create a virtual space where industry leaders and decision-makers could gather, explore, and interact.
Enter Studiowide. VES challenged us to explore how a Virtual 3D environment could not only introduce their new product to the global market but also double as an internal training tool. And who says innovation stops at the product? We brought that same innovative spirit to the launch itself.
With an impressive track record in the automotive industry, VES has always been at the forefront of tech-savvy solutions. But this time, they wanted to push the envelope even further by tapping into the metaverse.
We’ve got quite a few projects under our belt when it comes to to creating virtual experiences so we took this project and ran with it, designing a multi-user 3D virtual product launch space. Picture this: a sleek, immersive environment where visitors can navigate through various info points, each one offering insights through different media formats. And at the heart of it all? A 3D modelled replica of VES’s newest machine, waiting to be explored from every angle.
But we didn’t stop there. This virtual launch event was designed to be interactive and educational, allowing up to 15 virtual attendees to either join a collective discussion or wander through the space at their own pace, soaking up information. With features like messaging, audio chat, and screen sharing, it was like being at a live event—without the hassle of travel.
To add an extra layer of engagement, we also introduced an Augmented Reality (AR) component. Visitors could access a browser-based AR simulation that allowed them to see a life-sized version of the new VES machinery within their own facilities. This gave them a hands-on feel for the product, helping with everything from installation planning to decision-making.
In short, the VES 3D virtual product launch wasn’t just a launch—it was an experience. One that showcased VES’s commitment to innovation, not just in their products, but in how they connect with their global audience.
