Studiowide recently headed down to London for an exciting filming project with Network Rail and Project7 Consultancy. The goal? To capture and showcase the impressive performance improvements that had been implemented at Network Rail as part of an internal development programme led by Project7.
Our task was to create a compelling video that communicated these achievements, featuring interviews with Network Rail employees from across the business.
The video needed to highlight the key areas of improvement and give a real sense of how the changes had positively impacted the workforce.
One of the main challenges we faced was selecting the right people to interview. We wanted a diverse group, ranging from senior decision-makers to everyday team members, to show that the programme had made a difference at all levels of the organisation. This wasn’t just a surface-level initiative – the improvements were felt by everyone.
Another hurdle was choosing the right messages to include in the final cut. With so many great changes to highlight, narrowing it down to the most impactful testimonials was a challenge in itself.
Drawing on our experience working with large blue-chip companies, we understood that time was of the essence. To make the most of each interview, we carefully prepared in advance, creating a detailed list of interviewees and crafting specific questions designed to draw out the best soundbites and insights. This preparation was key to ensuring we captured powerful, engaging testimonials that would resonate with the audience.
The project was a huge success! The video was widely shared with both new and existing cohorts going through the consultancy programme, raising internal awareness of the programme’s value. For many Network Rail employees, watching their colleagues speak so positively about the changes sparked a desire to get involved and be part of the transformation.
