We recently wrapped up another exciting project for More Rooms Limited (MRL), an interior design company in the North West. Having previously teamed up with MRL to create their brand identity and website, we were thrilled to jump back in and create their brand guidelines.
Brand guidelines are like the rulebook for keeping a brand looking sharp and consistent. They cover everything from font choices and colours to logo sizes and communication layouts. Think of them as the ultimate style guide that makes sure the brand’s vibe stays on point, whether it’s on the website, in print, or in the cool images MRL uses to showcase its personality.
Now, without clear brand guidelines, things can get a little wild. Logos might shift, colours could fade, and before you know it, the brand doesn’t quite look like itself anymore. While customers might not notice a tiny change here or there, too many tweaks can lead to a brand identity crisis—and nobody wants that.
That’s where brand guidelines come to the rescue. They’re like the ‘how-to’ manual for making sure everything from the logo to the corporate colours stays true to the brand’s original design. It’s all about keeping things consistent, so the brand remains instantly recognisable and loved by its audience.
For MRL, we dug deep into their brand’s DNA, figuring out what makes them tick. After some creative brainstorming, we nailed down the key elements of their brand and put together a slick document that explains how to use each one. It’s like giving the brand its very own playbook.
Every brand is unique, so each guidelines manual is a one-of-a-kind creation. For MRL, we didn’t just pick a random font or colour—we carefully chose elements that reflect their brand’s personality. It’s all about making sure every detail works together to create a strong, cohesive image.
MRL was thrilled with the guidelines, which helped them really get why their brand looks the way it does and why it’s so important to keep it consistent. We had a blast working with More Rooms Limited and can’t wait to see what we’ll create together next!
