Heineken, Europe’s top brewer and one of the biggest names globally, has been running a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Programme since 2003. A huge part of this programme is training operators and engineers with tailored modules that hit the mark for their specific needs. That’s where Studiowide came in—to take this training to the next level by creating a series of whiteboard animation videos as part of a Unified Problem-Solving methodology.
Our previous work with Heineken in the Netherlands, where we created training videos for their Daily Control System, opened the door to this exciting new project. Heineken tasked us with transforming their PowerPoint slide decks and documents into six interactive, engaging videos, complete with testing and feedback loops to keep learners on their toes.
The original learning materials just weren’t cutting it for the delivery Heineken had in mind. So, they asked us to create six whiteboard animated videos in Dutch to revamp the content. Working on scribed videos in multiple languages? Definitely a challenge, but we were ready to tackle it head-on. We paid extra attention to planning and design to ensure everything translated seamlessly across languages.
But Heineken wanted more than just slick animations—they needed feedback and quizzes built into the videos to gauge learners’ understanding as they progressed. Our solution? Interactive whiteboard animation videos. This format, which features images being drawn on the screen alongside narration, is a fun and effective way to break down complex information.
We’ve been steadily upgrading our whiteboard animation game over the years, making it more interactive and dynamic. Gone are the days of dull, static presentations—our approach breathes life into content, turning “death by PowerPoint” into a thing of the past.
The interactive whiteboard animated videos we created for Heineken struck the perfect balance of creativity and clarity. Not only did they engage viewers, but they also kept them on their toes with integrated quiz points, ensuring a solid grasp of the material.
