Heineken, Europe’s leading brewer and one of the largest globally, sought to enhance awareness of their Daily Control system among employees. They decided that video would be the most effective way to communicate this critical information across the company.
Given our previous successful projects with Heineken, Studiowide was also chosen to handle the video production for this important piece.
Our objective was to capture the team in action, demonstrating how their Daily Control System is essential for managing operations effectively.
The project presented some challenges, particularly around ensuring that all filming equipment was transported safely and dealing with the noise levels during filming. Factory floors are noisy environments, with bottles clinking and machinery running constantly, making it difficult to capture clear audio. However, we knew that delivering crystal-clear sound was critical to conveying the Daily Control system’s importance.
To address the noise challenge, we used headset microphones to get as close to the source of sound as possible. With up to five people participating in some scenes, syncing multiple audio sources during post-production was essential.
Over two days of filming, starting early and finishing late, we captured all the necessary footage. Back in the studio, we immediately began editing, sending rough cuts to the client for feedback based on the storyboard. Regular review meetings kept the project on track.
The final series of videos not only met but exceeded Heineken’s expectations. The management team praised the quality of the videos and our professionalism throughout the project. They were particularly impressed with our flexibility in accommodating staff availability and ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
